Turtle Blood and Albatross

 A fisherman from El Salvador, has claimed to have been drifting at sea since December 2012 from Mexico. He recently just washed ashore in the Marshall Islands. Where the hell is that? Glad you asked.

Jose Salvador Alvarenga, 37 claims to have originally departured for a one day fishing expedition with a companion aged between 15-18. The boy was lost at sea a month in says Alvarenga. Alvarenga was found in coral with his 22 foot fiberglass boat a cool 6,200 miles away from his original departure. Alvarenga has claimed to have survived on birds, fish, and turtle blood (not turtles).  Jose you might of had me at birds and fish, but once you had the audacity to say turtle blood is where you lost me. Next thing Jose is going to tell me he had the Seahawks by 35 points in the Super Bowl. Before we know it HBO, CW, and NBC will have shows about turtle blood and vampires will be so 2011. Strikingly similar to another movie star. Jose you had a better chance of telling me you are the real Che Guevara. In my heart of hearts, I think this is Coca Cola's brilliant marketing campaign of him chasing a can of cola across the Pacific Ocean.
